Need to identify or monitor a group of potential SEC clients in 2009? The new Audit Analytics Peer Reporter Module is a great tool for the job. Using Peer Reporter you can generate custom peer groups or portfolios of SEC registrants using filters for location, current auditor, industry (including SIC and NAICS), market capitalization, total assets and several other factors. Individual companies can also be selected using ticker symbols or CIK codes.
Once you have built your peer groups, Audit Analytics Peer Reporter can be set to notify you each time one of the companies in the portfolio has a compliance issue (financial restatement, late filing, SOX 404 internal control issue, 302 disclosure control issue), auditor change or a director and officer change.
Use the peer group builder to help you construct a list of potential clients that meet the profile of likely customers for your business. Then use Peer Reporter's easy email monitoring feature to track events which might indicate a prospecting opportunity.
